I have known Britt since 2001 at Wells Fargo Foothill. We underwrote and closed some very marquis credits for WFF at that time. Our career paths have paralleled as we each left high level positions in commercial finance to join prominent PE firms where we were responsible for raising debt for US and European acquisitions for many years. We have since used this experience and the large network of relationships build over time to launch our own firms, and we continue to work together. When my partners and I launched Eigen Capital and were looking to fund our first transition, Britt/Backbone Capital made key introductions that proved essential in the successful financing of the transaction.
