I originally met Britt while he was with The Gores Group in 2007, we spent significant deal time together. After Britt started Backbone Capital in early 2011, Clearlake Capital worked with Backbone on some of our portfolio company financing reviews and prospective new acquisition financings. We recently closed our first deal together and Britt delivered real value to the transaction.
